PROCESS WORKER

A process worker plays a key role in the manufacturing industry, responsible for ensuring that products are made efficiently and to high standards. Their tasks may include operating machinery, monitoring production lines for quality assurance, performing quality checks, packing finished products, and resolving any machine or production issues that may arise. With a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a process worker is an essential member of any manufacturing team.


Common tasks:

  • Operating automatic machines and equipment, including setting up, monitoring, inspecting, adjusting, repairing and cleaning the machinery
  • Assembling various products
  • Packing products into boxes and stacking them onto pallets, carts or trolleys
  • Checking products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean workstation and work environment
  • Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products
  • Performing fast-paced assembly and packing work, and meeting production deadlines or targets
