Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wall Hanging Plasterer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality plastering services for our clients across Melbourne. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and fit plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and sealing as required.
• Apply basecoat, mud, and finishing coats to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
• Install insulation materials where necessary before plastering.
• Repair and restore damaged plaster surfaces.
• Mix joint compounds and other materials to the right consistency for application.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wall Hanging Plasterer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good physical condition and stamina for manual labour.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are preferred.
• Possessing the necessary tools for the job is preferable but not required.
