Pay Rate: $31+

Shifts: Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes across various applications, including fence and gate fabrication, door frame construction, window frame finishes, and door lock handle enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and clean surfaces for coating.
• Mix and apply powder coatings using various application methods.
• Ensure uniform and consistent application of coatings.
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and work area according to safety standards.
• Keep track of inventory and order coating materials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.

Requirements:

• Experience with powder coating equipment and techniques.
• Familiarity with different types of coatings and substrates.
• Strong understanding of colour mixing and application methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical dexterity and strength for handling equipment and materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
