Production Assembler (Technician)

Our client manufactures compliant electrical training pracbox equipment that is distributed all across Australia. We are currently looking for a Production Assembly position to join their friendly and motivated team in the Keysborough suburb.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical/Electronics Technician or similar role conducting product testing and assembly
• Strong knowledge of concepts, principles and practices (hands-on) of Electrical and Electronics systems

Proficiency in using various hand and power tools and electronic testing equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.
• High proficiency in soldering – through hole and surface mount
• Certificate III or above in Electrical/Electronics
• Proficiency in using Electrical CAD software
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other relevant software.
• Driver’s license

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routinely conducting product testing and assembly based on our processes
• Follow technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications for assembly, testing and maintenance procedures.
• Using various testing equipment to measure and analyse system performance.
• Undertaking fault-finding activities on our products
• Assist the engineering team in R&D
• Follow safety procedures
• Help improve our processes
• Maintain accurate documentation for assembly, testing, repairs and maintenance records and processes
• Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and safety standards.

What you need to know:

- Working in a small-medium warehouse environment

- Working schedule: 3 days (will lead to 5 days once the probation is complete) 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

- Casual to Permanent

- Rate: $35.43/h or above

- Immediate start available
