Forklift Operator/Pick Packer

Our client is currently seeking a reliable forklift driver to join their team based in the Dandenong South suburb. You will be responsible for driving a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring that products are safely and efficiently stored within our warehouse. The products can weigh up to 20kgs, so the ability to lift and move heavy items is essential.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing animal feed products.

• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.

• Storing products in the warehouse in the correct locations.

• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.

• Communicating with the warehouse manager to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.

Requirements:

• Experience in a warehouse/production environment.

• Valid forklift license.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work overtime.

• Physically fit to meet the strenuous demands of the job.

• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Start Date: Immediate

• Pay rate: $33.75/hour

• Working hours: Monday to Thursday = 9:30am to 6:00pm, Friday 9:30am to 1:30pm
