Aluminium First Class Welders

Our client, a leading aluminium fabrication firm, specialises in producing high-quality aluminium products using their own specialised extrusions. We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified First Class Welder to join our team in Dandenong South. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding, with the ability to work with a variety of materials and welding techniques to produce high-quality welds for various applications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld and repair aluminium construction products.
• Perform MIG welding, using specialised tools to heat aluminium and create strong bonds.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Demonstrate commitment and punctuality in all tasks.

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding, aluminium fabrication, or trench shoring manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of OH&S safety procedures in a workshop setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You Need to Know:

• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, plus overtime available.
• Pay rate: $42 - $50 per hour.
• Location: Dandenong South VIC 3175.
