We are currently seeking a Sales Representative / Business Development person for our client based in Keysborough.

This is a flexible part-time role that would suit someone with experience in 3PL, warehousing, logistics, pick and pack, customer liaison, or business development. It may also suit someone semi-retired or someone looking for flexible working days while still staying active in the industry.

The role is not strictly office-based. Depending on the day, you may be working from home, on the road, visiting customers, checking in with the business, or helping coordinate customer requirements. Working days and hours can be discussed with the client to suit both sides.

Our client operates in the 3PL and engineering support space. The business assists with customer products and components, including handling, modifying, packing, boxing and dispatching items, similar to a small-scale fulfilment operation.

Key Tasks:

- Assist with sales and business development

- Follow up new customer opportunities

- Liaise with customers and understand their requirements

- Help coordinate between customers, warehouse, pick and pack, and delivery operations

- Assist with organising deliveries and customer follow-ups

- Use ERP, WMS or similar systems

- Work with order details, numbers, quotes and customer information

- Maintain communication with the client and log hours worked

- Support the business in growing new customer accounts

Requirements:

- Experience in 3PL, warehousing, logistics, pick and pack, or similar

- Sales, business development or customer liaison experience

- Strong computer skills

- ERP, WMS or similar system knowledge preferred

- Good with numbers and order details

- Strong communication and liaison skills

- Ability to work independently and manage your own time

- Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn the business

- Comfortable working flexibly between home, road and business/client visits

- Minimum 3 days per week

- Opportunity for additional days/hours depending on business activity and customer onboarding

- Working days and hours to be discussed with the client

- Work from home, on the road, and business/client visits as required

- Base salary: $30,000 + super, based on part-time hours

- Commission structure included

- $500 one-off payment if a new customer is onboarded for a minimum of 4 months

- 2% commission on total sales, paid quarterly

- Commission structure applies for the first 12 months
