We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator / Assembler with a valid forklift licence for our client based in Keysborough.

This is a hands-on role that involves fabricating and assembling frames and components, operating machinery and tools, and using a forklift to move materials and finished products around the warehouse and production area.

The role would suit someone with previous fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or production experience who is comfortable working with their hands and completing a variety of duties throughout the day.

You will be working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment where attention to detail, safety and the ability to follow measurements and instructions are important.

Key Tasks:

• Fabricate and assemble frames and components
• Measure, cut, drill, fit and assemble materials
• Use hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment
• Read and follow measurements, drawings and work instructions
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products
• Load, unload and organise materials when required
• Complete quality checks on assembled products
• Prepare completed products for storage or dispatch
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required

Requirements:

• Current Australian forklift licence
• Previous fabrication or assembly experience
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Good measuring skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately
• Physically fit and comfortable completing hands-on duties
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Willingness to assist across both production and warehouse duties

Experience in metal fabrication, frame assembly, glazing, engineering, manufacturing or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
