Production Labourer | Meat Processing

GoAllan Services is seeking production labourers for ongoing work at a meat production facility in Moorabbin.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving repetitive lifting and handling raw meat in a cold-room environment. It would suit someone reliable, physically capable and willing to learn.

No previous meat-industry experience or knife skills are required, as training will be provided. A genuine interest in working in the meat industry would be an advantage.

Your duties

• General labouring and production work within a meat processing environment.
• Handling and moving meat products, including repetitive lifting of items weighing up to approximately 15 kg.
• Assisting with various production tasks such as transferring, hanging, wrapping and preparing meat products.
• Washing tubs and assisting with general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Following work instructions, food safety and hygiene procedures, and safe manual-handling practices.
• Assisting with other general production duties as required.

What we’re looking for

• The physical capability to safely carry out repetitive lifting and sustained manual work.
• A willingness to work, learn the tasks and follow instructions.
• Good spoken English to understand instructions and communicate clearly with the team.
• Reliable transport to Moorabbin for 4:00 am starts and consistent attendance.
• Someone comfortable handling raw meat and working in cold conditions, who is looking for ongoing employment.

Applicants must have Australian work rights with no work-hour restrictions and be available for the agreed roster on an ongoing basis.

What’s provided

Training and full PPE supplied on site, including hairnets, gloves, protective coats and boots.
